Living Room Home Theater

An existing, bulky rear projection television was replaced with a state-of-the-art plasma monitor to provide the finest available video reproduction without resorting to a costly and space consuming projection system. In addition to a vast improvement in picture quality, the wall-mounted set opened a significant amount of valuable floor space and allowed for greater light perfusion. In-wall speakers were carefully matched to the room size and placement constraints then painted to blend-in to the room. A subwoofer was hidden in the room.

Additionally, the affordable and superb Sonos product line was used to distribute music throughout the house from a central location with house-wide control via a dedicated controller, iPhone, or iPad. A NAS drive offloads the media from the owner’s PC and ensures that the Sonos system has access to the music library even with the PC shutdown. Speaker choice and placement was given great consideration to ensure integration with the client’s well-appointed Victorian residence.
