The equipment within this custom cabinet required updating while maintaining the integrity of the existing woodwork. All of the existing equipment, racking, and outdated wiring was removed in preparation for the new installation. Custom racking containing new equipment and revised wiring was then re-installed without affecting any external cabinetry. Custom shelving was added on the interior cabinet space, too, for non-rack mountable components. Proper cabinet cooling is being maintained by new exhaust fans and venting. Finally, the existing touch panels within the residence were updated to reflect added sources such as iPod and AirPlay via an AirPort Express.
